Winterfest [RAFT] 2024
Posted by Alesia Gitter on
I find a lot of events to sell at through Facebook groups. I am in several local groups based on the cities surrounding me, and in the city I do reside in. There was a local elementary school that was hosting a one day winter event that was looking for a few more vendors. I wasn't accepted into any events in December, so I messaged them for information. This was posted in early November and they quickly emailed me with the information which included setup, internet information, a warning that hey other vendors may be selling similar items to you and...
Gigi-ology Beat the Heat Craft & Vendor Show 2024

I randomly signed up for this event even though I already had a lot going on but I hadn't done a craft fair in awhile so I was wanting to get to some other local events in cities I didn't normally get to. My sister in law lives in Monticello so it was a no brainer to go sell there.I really want Derek to do events one day so I asked him to come with and he agreed! He is so talented I hope he finds what he wants to do. Being an adult is hard man. I still don't...
Geek Craft Expo 2024 Minneapolis

I want to start off by saying when I registered for this event having only done regular craft fairs, I had like.. zero expectations. Actually, looking back, I paid for this event in December. Looks like I registered December 3rd, 2023. Even as of me writing this, it's still my most expensive event I have paid for thus far and that's shocking because Momocon's table price comes pretty close.Either way, I applied. I got in. Exciting stuff! Then I waited forever. Two things I'd like to note right now. First, the communication from the organizers of this event and the extent at...
Geek Craft Fair @ Boom Island Brewery 2024

Where to even start. I guess I will start with Rachel Silberman was posting events for the brewery she works at. Either way, I didn't really qualify for most of them as they were themed. Nintendo, LOTR, Arcades, etc. Honestly, if you just look at their page you will see the variety they host. Everything from cars to live music to themed shopping events or activities. I wish I lived closer because the whole place gives off a really fun place to be kind of vibe. The event was also on TV the week of! I guess I took a really terrible picture...
Gigi-ology Love To Shop Craft & Vendor Show

So this was an event I signed up for pretty last minute. I am in the Facebook group for the Gigi-ology Events and had seen all the advertising that was being done locally and felt it was probably worth trying since they had some space. I will also note that when I was driving back from my event in St Cloud on the February 10th, I saw the advertisement on the big screen! They really put a lot of work into this from a planning perspective so I definitely had some hope.Having done the event now, I am still undecided...
