Where to even start. I guess I will start with Rachel Silberman was posting events for the brewery she works at. Either way, I didn't really qualify for most of them as they were themed. Nintendo, LOTR, Arcades, etc. Honestly, if you just look at their page you will see the variety they host. Everything from cars to live music to themed shopping events or activities. I wish I lived closer because the whole place gives off a really fun place to be kind of vibe.The event was also on TV the week of! While it's still a one day con much like others (BizBaz & Maple Con), it had ties to 2D Con. 2D con is a gaming convention that also has like.. mini events or something throughout the year. So this was an event I signed up for pretty last minute. I am in the Facebook group for the Gigi-ology Events and had seen all the advertising that was being done locally and felt it was probably worth trying since they had some space. I will also note that when I was driving back from my event in St Cloud on the February 10th, I saw the advertisement on the big screen! They really put a lot of work into this from a planning perspective so I definitely had some hope.Having done the event now, I am still undecided...

Do not offer to host Super Bowl Sunday the day after a show. I'm so tired from cleaning all week then waking up at 6am this morning to make sure all the pets were handled, everyone was fed and then out the door to the event.So originally I hadn't intended on registering for this event because I do believe the LGBTQ+ community should be the ones selling in their spaces but they did have open spaces still so I did eventually take one. So my friend Cosmic Kristen Designs recommended that I sign up for BizBaz @ Home for January after they had reached out to me on social media. For anyone unfamiliar with BizBaz, they are a small California owned Boba and art business who has a really welcoming community both locally and online. I think I had originally been invited to be a vendor in October or November, but I was so busy I really can't remember anymore.
