I own and use a lot of hair claws. This is the most awkward claw clip I've ever encountered by miles. You pretty much are required to use your entire hand to open it, gripping both ears. You could open the claw by grabbing just one ear. However, the way the clip bends if you try opening it with one ear shows that doing that repeatedly would cause it to break very quickly. You can't really pinch between the ears, because there's no leverage.
Once you've gone through the weird hassle of opening the claw and put it in your hair, it's sturdiness is middling. It's not the best, but it's also the not worst.
It's super cute, but the problems caused by it's shape have me already considering getting rid of it. I would not by a clip in this shape again.
So cute! I absolutely love it!
So cute and honestly hard for me to wear cause I just want to look at. Only issue I'm having is opening the hair claw because I'm not used to the design with the ears.
